Craig R. Workman

Craig is a 25-year veteran of the public relations industry. He operated The Workman Company, a St. Louis-based public relations and public affairs agency for a decade, beginning in 1993. He then formed Snyder & Workman Communications with Pete Snyder.

Prior to that, he was vice president of the St. Louis office of two large public relations agencies, Edelman Public Relations Worldwide and Shandwick. He began his career as a publications editor at Blue Cross of Missouri.

Craig is known for developing, executing and managing strategic, multi faceted public communications programs designed to significantly enhance the positive image and reputation of an organization, its products and its activities. His award winning public relations programs typically integrate a wide range of activities such as research, media relations and publicity, community relations, crisis management, publications, issues management, employee relations, specialized communications and results measurement.

Craig's programs have won four national awards for public relations campaigns, consumer-directed public relations programs and public affairs programs.

A former president of the St. Louis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Craig can call on colleagues from across the nation, when needed. For Lobbyist Source, Craig leads public relations efforts, with a particular focus on media training and media relations. He is a 1978 journalism graduate of the University of Missouri.
